The use of Mittwald is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in ensuring that our website is as reliable as possible. If consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and § 25 (1) TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Order processing

We have concluded an order processing agreement (AVV) for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that the personal data of our website visitors is only processed in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

4. Collection and storage of personal data when visiting the website

When you visit our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to our website’s server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following data is collected:

  • IP address
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the file accessed
  • Website from which access is made
  • Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system

Collection and processing of personal data

Personal data is any information relating to your identity, such as your name, email address or postal address. Such data is only stored if it is provided to skyhub PAD voluntarily or with prior consent, e.g. when ordering studies/information material or subscribing to the newsletter. This data is then stored and processed accordingly.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The data entered in the contact form is therefore processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. To do so, simply send us an informal email. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Use and disclosure of personal data

skyhub PAD uses personal data exclusively for the purposes of technical administration of the websites, to provide access to specific information and for other communication for the predetermined purpose. skyhub PAD will not disclose personal data to third parties or use it for any other purpose. skyhub PAD employees are bound to confidentiality.

Choice

Users are free to decide what information they provide to skyhub PAD. If users do not wish to provide any information, certain content on the website may not be accessible. Subscribers to a newsletter can unsubscribe from these communication services at any time. If your personal data has changed (e.g. postcode, email or postal address), you can also inform skyhub PAD by email to correct or update the data.

4.1. Google reCAPTCHA

To protect against misuse by non-human visitors (bots) and to prevent spam, this website uses the reCAPTCHA service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland (‘Google’).

reCAPTCHA can be used to verify whether data entry on our website is performed by a human or by an automated programme. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor based on various characteristics. When reCAPTCHA is launched, your browser establishes a connection to Google’s servers.

Google processes the following data, among other things, to analyse behaviour:

  • Referrer URL (the address of the page from which the visitor comes)
  • IP address
  • Complete screenshot of the browser window
  • Information about the operating system
  • Cookies
  • Mouse and keyword behaviour
  • Length of stay
  • User device settings (e.g. date and language settings, location, browser, screen resolution, etc.)
  • All JavaScript objects

Cookies are used to process the service. These cookies require a unique identifier for tracking purposes. According to Google, the IP address is not combined with other Google data unless you are logged into your Google account while using reCAPTCHA. First, the reCAPTCHA algorithm checks whether Google cookies from other Google services are already placed on your browser. reCAPTCHA then sets an additional cookie in your browser and captures a snapshot of your browser window. Processing is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Consent can be revoked at any time via the cookie settings.

Further information about Google reCAPTCHA is available here: https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/

Our website uses cookies. These serve to ensure functionality, statistical evaluation and tracking for marketing purposes. When you visit our website for the first time, our cookie consent tool ‘CookieFirst’ gives you the option to select or refuse your consent.

6. Web analysis with Google Analytics

7. Newsletter (CleverReach)

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your data on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. We use CleverReach to send the newsletter. The provider is CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede, Germany.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the newsletter.

8. Recipients of personal data

We work with various external parties in the course of our business activities. This sometimes requires the transfer of personal data to these external parties. We only pass on personal data to external parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. passing on data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest in passing on the data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, or if another legal basis permits the transfer of data. When using processors, we only pass on our customers’ personal data on the basis of a valid contract for data processing. In the case of joint processing, a contract for joint processing is concluded.

You have the right to:
